Today, NBC 7 in San Diego interviewed me for the evening news, and asked me to comment on the new book NO EASY DAY, the supposed "tell all" about the Osama Bin Laden raid in Pakistan, written by one of the SEALs that was there... While I have not read the book, I have gotten a number of phone calls and e-mails from SEALs I interviewed for FEARLESS, most of them from SEAL Team SIX, and some who were also on the OBL mission. Some are holding judgement till they read the book, while others are shocked and angered by what one described as "the betrayal of a brother." I will say, for the record, that not a single SEAL I interviewed during the weeks after that raid a year and a half ago provided me an "ounce" of detail or information about that secret mission. Not a single word was uttered by any of them. I missed the airing of the news tonight, so if anybody saw it, let me know how it was, it's not yet available on NBC's website. NBC 7, with Leah Sutton, was the first to air a show about Adam and FEARLESS three months ago. For those of you who missed it, lets share this around in remembrance of an honorable-til-the-end Navy SEAL named Adam Brown.
